Term 3 - Week 1

Charlotte received our Star Student award for getting organised quickly for each lesson and for having another go when she makes mistakes.  Well Done Charlotte!

Lucia linked her news to our FORCES topic by showing us how to build a catapult out of marshmallows!

We begin our forces topic with the ancient question...how many teachers does it take to pull a car (filled with a principal and a few students)?
The answer is more than one...well at least more than THIS one.
It took three in the end.
Then the students had a go...it took nine of them to get it moving.

Term 2 - Week 11

A group of our students took the money we raised during our games gala to the S.P.C.A.

Maya was awarded the Principal's Challenge Award for showing creativity in her learning.
Maya shows her creativity in so many ways including the artwork she creates, finding more than one way to answer tricky maths questions, and the wonderful stories she writes.

Some of our students got a chance to show their recorder skills at the school assembly.

We finished our Van Gogh Starry Night artwork.

The Games Gala was  big success.
"Our Room raised money for the S.P.C.A, we raised
$55, my favourite part was visiting the other classes and seeing what other classes made....it was really cool seeing adults playing the games"  Jade.
