Term 4 - Week 4

Above is a quick slideshow showing our calendar art which you can order, there is a poster on our large whiteboard showing 

the different things that it can be made into. 

They are all on display in our room in a green clear-file folder on the grey table (the one with the big cactus on it), come in and check them out!  

William was awarded our 'Star of the Week' because of his amazing attitude to reading.  William is definitely a bookworm and always has great ideas to share about what he is reading.

Our calendar art is finished now, the students have worked really hard on these, here are a few examples.  

 This week in our writing some students chose to create an imaginative piece of writing with a buddy.

A lot of planning, co-operation and communication is needed for this to be successful!

Term 4 - Week 3

 Tyler was awarded our 'Star of the Week' for his effort and improvement in reading and writing.

Tyler has been including descriptive language in his writing and is scanning pages to answer questions about his reading.  Awesome work Tyler!

We received the 'we care award' for having the tidiest class and bag area..well done team.  Keep it up!

 We added dye to our calendar art, this art will show a collection of pictures representing activities we have enjoyed together this year.

Term 4 - Week 2

 Cameron received our 'Star of the Week' for effort and improvement in maths.

Cameron is always willing to have several attempts at tricky questions, well done Cameron!

Our school chooks have settled happily into their new home.

Zara received our 'Star of the Week' award for her fantastic effort in reading and writing.

Zara works hard to make sure her writing is interesting for the reader.  She also thinks carefully before giving clever answers about what she is reading.

 We began tennis lessons began this week, we had great weather for them!

 We practised our earthquake drill...and the whole school had a fire drill.
