Term 1 - Week 11

Kaylee received our Principal's Challenge Award for being an effective communicator.
Kaylee not only explains her own ideas clearly but also listens carefully to others.
Kaylee is very good at using humour to grab her audiences attention.
Well done Kaylee!

Our next pieces of perspective art are up on our wall now.
Look closely and you will see tiny photos of our other art decorating these rooms.

Term 1 - Week 10

Rylee received our 'Star of the Week' award for thinking of more than one way of solving tricky maths questions.  Rylee isn't afraid to re-think an idea and come up with creative ways of breaking numbers up to make problems easier to solve.

Our homework egg-speriment had a few very cool results when the acid in the vinegar dissolved the eggshell.

It was our Plunket 'give a hug day' so we had a few special guests in our room!

Evelyn did a HUGE bike ride last weekend.
Look how far she rode!
We have been looking at how important nutrition is for our health but exercise is another way of keeping healthy...well done Evelyn!

Term1 - Week 9

Cameron received our 'Star of the Week' award for being helpful, organised and respectful.
These are great qualities to see in any student and it is fantastic to see Cameron displaying them every day!  Well done Cameron, keep up the great work!

We had a coach from the Nelson Giants teaching us a few skills.

Students from Nayland College came to perform for us and to encourage students to learn to play an instrument.
