Term 3 - Week 5

Chali was awarded our 'Principals Challenge - Physically Active Learner' Award.
Chali shows us that you can be competitive AND be supportive of all the other players in a game.
Chali loves any excuse to get outside and get stuck into a game, she then demonstrates fair-play and never gives up..
Keep up the great work Chali!

One of our worms decides to check out its new home and Mr Pearson learns that trying to read a story to the class is impossible once they have noticed this.

We are doing measurement in maths, we made paper planes and used what we have learned about metres to first estimate how far each one flew and then check our estimates with a ruler.

We also measured objects in the class as we tried to find things that were 1cm and 10 cm in length.

Mia and Kaylee gave us an awesome martial arts demonstration!

Some reading groups used a Venn Diagram to compare two journal articles.
The students were given a variety of different minibeast pictures to sort and categorise, they came up with some great ways of grouping these creatures.
