Term 2 - Week 9


Liam was awarded our 'Star of the Week' for his effort and improvement in reading.
Liam is working hard scanning pages to quickly find the answers to tricky questions, well done Liam!

Term 2 - Week 8

Evelyn received our 'Star of the Week' award for the fantastic effort and attitude she brings to each writing lesson.  Evelyn is putting so many great things into her work each day to make it interesting for the reader.  Well done Evelyn!

 We have been learning about the Maori phrases for the weather.
We are making little books to show our learning.

Term 2 - Week 7

Stella was awarded our Star of the Week for her 
attitude and effort in reading.
Stella concentrates on what she is reading, scans the page to find answers to questions, and goes back to fix mistakes by herself.

Term 2 - Week 6

Sam was awarded our 'Star of the Week' for behaviour that always displays the Birchwood School value of Respect.
Sam shows respect by listening when others are speaking, offering a helping hand whenever it is needed and by giving supportive comments.  Well done Sam!

Term 2 - Week 5

Corey received our 'Physically Active Learner' award.
Corey loves any chance to get outside and combines a competitive attitude with fair-play. 
He helps his team and is supportive of others.
