Senses Poetry

Check out these awesome poems, that were inspired by our bottletop artwork. We thought about the environments that our animals live in and used our senses, and WOW words to describe them....... I am incredibly proud of the results.... Read on......

I see a delicate dragonfly flowing silently through the sparkling rain
I hear the rustling leaves flapping loudly on the shaking trees
I feel the splashing raindrops falling on the grassy fields
I smell the summer grass swishing quietly in the swift breeze
I taste the falling rain dripping refreshingly onto my dry tongue

I see a graceful cat shooting silently through the beautiful garden.
I hear a soft silent miaowing faintly coming from thick bushes.
I feel the fluffy cats fur suddenly through my light fingers.
I smell the fresh flowers blooming peacefully from the tickly grass.
I taste the drippy raindrops falling faintly through the blue sky.

I see a graceful kiwi dashing carefully through the native bush.
I hear the delicate birds chirping loudly in the damp nest.
I feel the soft feathers tickling awkwardly against my silky skin.
I smell the beautiful berries growing gracefully in a hidden bush.
I taste the fresh air blowing swiftly through my silky clothes.

I see a bright blue fish swimming gracefully through the glistening deep blue sea.
I hear the soft wind swaying lightly across my pale skin.
I feel the freezing water rushing slowly against my cold wet feet.
I smell the salty seaweed cracking loudly under my sloppy legs.
I taste the fishy sea falling carefully into my watery mouth.
