Our Wind Farm

Our Wind Farm
In our topic we have been learning about wind farms and turbines. We made a wind farm from Knects. Logan came up with the idea. The people who made it were Nick, Liam, Conner and Logan. We also made a connection power transmitter and also a storage battery. We love our wind turbine!

How Hot?? How Cool!!!

Today we have been measuring water with thermometers. We had some ice water, some tap water and some hot water from the zip!

We predicted what we thought it would measure and then we learnt how to use a thermometer to measure the temperature.

We started to think about how we could use insulation ( another shun word!!!) to keep the water hot.

We will investigate soon!

Medals for Josh and Nick

In room 7 we share news on Monday. Josh earned a medal in Rugby for great tackling.well done Josh!

At the weekend Nick was in a swimming competition and won 1silver medal and 6 ribbon's ka pai Nick!
