Term 3 - Week 8

Louis was awarded our 'Star of the Week' because of the positive attitude and effort he has shown during our science unit.  Well done Louis!
We have finished our self-portraits...lots of hard work, re-thinking of ideas, persisting through the tricky bits, and use of different techniques has led to awesome work created by every single student, well done team!
The whole school will be displaying their art in the hall in week 10 (the last week of the term) so come on in and check it out!

Note:  We have tree planting down by the Honest Lawyer next Tuesday (15th of September).
We will be leaving school at 9:15, all are welcome to come join us!
We studied air resistance by making different sized paper spinners and dropping them off a wooden tower in the senior playground.  The spinner with the largest wings fell slowest...it still had gravity pulling it down but it had more air resistance pushing those wings up.

 Yippee skippee!
It's 'Skipping September'....how different would this be without gravity pulling us down?
